Pillitteri Estates Winery proudly continues a family tradition of viticulture and winemaking excellence. Founded by Gary and Lena Pillitteri in June 1993, the opening of Pillitteri Estates was the culmination of a family's dream. Today three generations of the Pillitteri family continue this dream, producing 100% local Niagara VQA wines that have received more than 1,000 wine awards from around the world.
The Pillitteri winemaking philosophy is to produce the finest wines possible from the highest quality Niagara Peninsula grapes. Each vineyard and wine is treated individually since each has its own ‘personality’ that must be expressed. Winemaker Aleksander Kolundzic’s goal is to produce consistent, quality wine: rich, full-bodied reds; fragrant, lively whites; and luscious ice wines, in a variety of styles to suit every palate.
