Viñedos Veramonte is a family-owned winery that forms part of the González Byass portfolio. The winery is located in Casablanca and the vineyards are enclosed by 2,500 hectares of native forest.
The project has come a long way since its first harvest in 1996, and now includes new estates in the best appellations of Chile, such as Apalta (which has some of the oldest vineyards in the New World) and Marchigüe (premium terroir for red varieties), both of which are in the Colchagua Valley.
Since 2012 all the estates have practised organic farming, as we believe that healthy soils give way to pure fruit, and great wines and vineyards last longer. All three estates are now certified organic, with the brands – Veramonte, Ritual, Primus and Neyen – consistently ranked among the best.
