Ca’ del Bosco is a major Italian brand of sparkling wine, and the top producer of Franciacorta DOCG, Italy’s leading metodo classico wine. The first vineyard was planted by the Zanella family in 1968, on only five acres of land on top of a hill, with the dream of producing wine on par with the most prestigious Champagnes.
The first glass of Ca’ del Bosco was poured following the 1976 harvest, and since then the winery has never looked back. Many milestones have been reached and surpassed: the construction of an underground cellar, launching new gravity conveyors for moving and pressing the grapes, the innovative “zero oxygen” bottling and disgorging systems, along the adoption of increasingly eco-friendly farming methods. Indeed, Ca’ del Bosco now creates some of Italy’s most renowned and popular wines.
