The Mazzei family is one of the oldest in Tuscany, having been in Chianti Classico since 1435. They are closely linked, not just to the history of winemaking, but also to the political and cultural development of the entire region.
Today the family still devotes itself to winemaking, with an eye towards innovation and an abiding respect for the land.
The family's guiding principles remain the same today as they have always been: keeping alive historic and traditional family values and adapting them to the demands of today’s market, while examining opportunities offered by advanced technological applications.
