Antonio Franco founds the “Cantine Franco” winery in Valdobbiadene in 1919.
His son Nino expands it and Primo, winemaker of third generation, improves the company giving more and more value to the terroir of Prosecco and to the Glera grape.
He uses old clones, he tests new techniques of cultivation and production and he exports his wines becoming one of the first pioneers to introduce Prosecco into the international market.
In 2006 Silvia, Primo’s daughter, entered the family's business.
