Bodegas RODA

Founded in 1987 on the banks of the River Ebro on a balcony in The Haro Station District above a 19th century wine cellar, it is considered “the most classic of the modern”, they recently celebrated their 30th anniversary and now comprise the wineries considered to best represent the P.D.O. Rioja.

Their constant work —faithful to the traditional Riojan wine-making method, standing out from the prevailing trends at the time it was founded in the 80s— and their innovative vision have positioned them amongst the world’s best wines since the very first day.

Their philosophy is characterised by the selection of native varieties of red grapes (Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano), the use of old vineyards, and a deep respect for every vintage. Land conservation is one of the winery’s fundamental values, which ensures each of its products is made sustainably.
